Dance Throughout the Year aims to adjoin the Cyprus Contemporary Dance Platform programme, by enriching the festival’s programme with works that were presented during the previous year in Cyprus and therefore support and promote, alongside with the Platform, the artistic work of the creators. The Cyprus Contemporary Dance Platform is organized by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Rialto theatre since 2001, while the parallel events of Dance Throughout the Year -an initiative of Dance House Lemesos – are part of the festival’s programme since 2008.

Between 2017-2019 Dance House Lemesos was collaborating with Blast Collective for the project Blast from the Past: a retrospective to the future, as part of the artistic programme of Dance Throughout the Year.
